We will obtain personal information from you when you enquire about our activities, register on our database, sign up to a newsletter, make a donation to us, or otherwise provide us with personal information.
What information do we collect?
Personal information is any information that can be used to identify you. For example, it can include information such as your name, date of birth, email address, postal address, telephone number, fax number and credit/debit card details.
How do we use this information?

- To communicate our campaigns, membership, fundraising and other activities;
- To further our charitable aims.
Charity Aid is responsible for collecting your personal information. Any information we collect is stored. Other than the uses set out in this policy, or as required by law, your personal information will not be shared with third parties or used in any other way, unless you grant permission. However, we may sometimes share your information with our trusted service providers who are authorised to act on our behalf. We may also need to disclose your information if required to do so by law.

How do we protect personal information?
We use a secure server when you make a donation via our website. We also take appropriate measures to ensure that the information disclosed to us is kept secure, accurate and up to date and kept only for so long as is necessary for the purposes for which it is used.
A cookie is a small piece of information sent from our website to your computer and stored on your hard drive to help us to identify you quickly when you next visit. A cookie allows us to personalise the website to your requirements and avoid lengthy registration/personalisation.
The Charity Aid website may include links to other sites, not owned or managed by us. We cannot be held responsible for the privacy of information collected by websites not managed by us.
Right of access

- his physical or mental health or condition;

the commission or alleged commission by him of any offence; or any proceedings for any offence committed or alleged to have been committed by him, the disposal of such proceedings or the sentence of any court in such proceedings
